NIL'S STONE HOUSE

NIL'S Stone HouseNIL'S Stone House is a rare ancient Greek stone house, registered with the Monuments Board, located in the last untouched village of Izmir Cesme, Çiftlikköy, 100 meters from the sea and the beach. NILS Stone House was initially built in the 18th century, commissioned for one of the prominent families in the region, and has been used by the family for approximately 200 years.
Due to its uninterrupted presence for two centuries, the residential building within the structure has attracted considerable attention.
UMART Architecture Office, which took over the building in 2010, completed the challenging restoration work using original building materials and craftsmanship over a period of 4 years. Some of the materials used in the building and the stones of the rubble walls belong to the original structure. The building, reconstructed in accordance with the original, was built using stones cut by hand according to ancient construction techniques, without the use of modern mortar and concrete materials. Since the ceiling and floor are made of wood, our building is lightweight and earthquake-resistant.
Access to NILS Stone House is extremely easy. You can reach Cesme from the highway without leaving the new Istanbul-Izmir highway by connecting to the Cesme highway, and there is also a free bypass road between Izmir and Çeşme. The distance from the Cesme highway toll booths to NILS Stone House is only 5 km. Our facility is 1 km away from Chios Island port, Chios Island Ferry and Çeşme international marina.
NIL'S Stone House is 3 km from the center of Cesme and 10 km from the center of Alaçatı. The world-famous Altınkum, Pırlanta, Boyalık beaches are 3 km away, and Ilıca beach is 6 km away. You can reach famous beaches and beach clubs in just 10 minutes.
Çiftlikköy is a centuries-old fishing village, and the fishermen in our village still work on the basis of cooperatives. Fish caught all night with small fishing boats are sold at auction at 10:30 am and at a cooperative auction that anyone can attend. The region's large red mullets, octopus, lobster, and squid are offered for sale alive. Can Baba Fish Restaurant and Solanis Tavern, frequented by celebrities, are wonderful establishments famous for their Aegean appetizers, fresh fish, lobster, octopus, and alcohol service. These establishments are only 150 meters away from NILS Stone House and offer our guests special discounts and reservation rights (finding an empty table in these establishments during the season is quite difficult).
NIL'S Stone House offers service with 7 deluxe and 2 suite rooms, all of which consist of rubble walls. During the summer months, our rooms have an extremely cool and healthy atmosphere due to the rubble walls. Breakfast service is prepared fresh as a spread Aegean breakfast in NILS Stone House special courtyard and is provided free of charge to our guests between 09:00-11:00. NILS Stone House also offers 24-hour reception service and daily cleaning service. All bathroom amenities, towels, and textile products are replaced daily free of charge. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available.
